Beyond the gates of the C.V. estate, you’ll meet its two caretakers: The Collector (Sean) and The Keeper (Bethany), a husband-and-wife duo with a lifelong fascination for the unusual, the nostalgic, and the beautifully macabre. While most people see something unsettling and say, “That’s creepy,” we’re deciding where to display it.
For decades we’ve explored the darkest, dustiest corners in search of vintage Halloween treasures, forgotten holiday décor, post-mortem photography, and haunted relics of the past. Along the way, we discovered we weren’t alone. If you’re here, chances are you’re one of our fellow Spookies!
That passion became Cryptiques Vintage in 2013. Today, we curate authentic vintage treasures and photograph these remarkable pieces, transforming them into apparel, mugs, rugs, pillows, bags, home décor, and more, so everyone can enjoy these extraordinary pieces of history without altering the originals.
As The Keeper preserves these moments in time and The Collector continues the hunt, our greatest joy is helping each treasure find its next Spooky Caretaker.
